Last year goes rushing by,
As I fall more and more.
All the memories fly with it,
From the point you walked out the door.

The shouts from fighting
Seem like whispers all around my ear.
I'm falling faster now,
Why don't I feel fear?

Curses back and forth,
Following by screams.
I'm falling into darkness,
More and more it seems.

And as I fall deeper
Without a peep or sound,
I start to silently wonder:
What will happen when I reach the ground?

I don't know what other way to describe it...sometimes it just feels like I'm falling...

Great work- I love it how u always get things to rhyme without messing up the meaning of the poem!!! I know how you feel. I think I've already reached the ground- its not the worlds best place to be but its more secure than falling! At times like these it seems like things can't get any worse .......surely that means that they can only get better!? Just don't give up hope x

I inexplicably have a the strange feeling that I'm falling. It's a bit unsettling to say the least...I really like this piece, because you capture the despair of falling very well.

gave up trying to figure it out but my head got lost along the way
worn out from giving it up my soul I pissed it all away
still stings these shattered nerves
pigs we get what pigs deserve
