Dying Inside

It hurts so much,
And I don't know why.
Every single day,
I just want to cry.

This pain is intense,
I feel like I'm breaking.
Like some unknown misery
That's in the making.

Sometimes it's hard to breathe;
One gasp is all I can give..
Sometimes it's hard not to cry,
And sometimes it's hard just to live.

There's so much sadness,
And it's getting harder to hide.
I guess this is what it feels like
When you're dying inside...
